How to add a Partner to Your Facebook Business Page(s)
Social Media Management has become a necessity in today's market, both for B2C and B2B. Adding a Page partner/manager is one of the first steps to getting everything up and running.
Before we begin, please know the following terms and information:
Facebook Business Suite is Facebook's center for business management. You likely already have used this, but it is where you can manage everything from your Facebook page to your Linked Instagram pages.
When you give access to Precision to post on your behalf, you are giving access to Precision's Facebook Business Suite Account, not to any person within Precision.
Facebook Business ID is a set of numbers that individually IDs an account.
First Steps
Make sure you can see your business page in business.facebook.com
Make sure your Instagram account is linked to your Facebook Page (if you have one). You can learn how to do that here.
Adding Precision as Managers
Go to the Facebook Business Suite Settings https://business.facebook.com/settings
Click the "Partners" tab under the "Users" Section.
Click "Add"
Click "Give a partner access to your assets"
Enter Precision's Business ID, which will be provided to you by Precision.
Click "Next"
Setting Permissions for Pages
Permissions are very important for how accounts are managed. You need to be sure to give Precision full access.
If your page(s) appears under the "New Page Experience" tab, select the page(s) and click "Full Control." Also select "View Earnings Insights"
If your page(s) don't appear, click the "Classic Pages" tab. Select the page(s) and click "Full Control." Also select "View Earnings Insights"
If you have a linked Instagram page, select the "Instagram Accounts" tab. Select the account(s) and turn every button "on."
Click Save Changes.
Once you've completed these steps, Precision should have access to your assets. Precision will reach out if there are any issues.
